Repairing Denim with Self Edge NYC starring Andrew Chen (presented by Complex Mag)

Andrew is going to get on my case because I owe him some homemade ice cream. I’ve been promising him and a few others for ages.

But I wanted to share an awesome video of Self Edge’s denim repair service using a sewing technique called darning, where you repair holes by reweaving fabric with threads rather than sewing a piece of fabric to patch it up.

I will be coming by with my beloved pair of APCs (which I’m sure he’ll get on my case for as well) and pick up a pair of raw jeans to work on, which I’ve wanted to do for ages.
